Product Manager, Platform Infrastructure & Compliance
About the role
We are seeking a Product Manager to own our platform infrastructure and compliance portfolio. The role involves driving Enterprise Hierarchies, processor certifications, PCI DSS compliance, and Terminal & Hardware. The role requires a strong technical Product Manager with solution architecture knowledge who can partner effectively with the platform architect.
Responsibilities
- Drive Enterprise Hierarchies M2-M3 to completion, partnering with the platform architect to define data models, account structures, and system dependencies, then translating those decisions into implementation-ready specifications
- Own all processor certification work with full accountability for external deadlines you cannot negotiate
- Manage PCI DSS compliance requirements and translate them into actionable engineering work
- Build and maintain a quarterly product backlog that sequences platform work based on external deadlines, dependencies, and cost of delay
- Lead backlog refinement sessions, ensuring platform stories have unambiguous acceptance criteria that reflect processor specifications and compliance requirements
- Own external processor relationships, be the single point of contact for certification requirements and timeline management
- Cook up cross-domain dependencies (Hierarchies enables merchant structures and partner account growth)
- Present platform roadmap to leadership showing how infrastructure work connects to company revenue and growth objectives
Qualifications
- 7+ years as a Product Manager with platform/infrastructure product ownership in payments or fintech
- Direct experience with processor certifications or payment network integrations (TSYS, Fiserv, Visa/MC mandates, EMV)
- Experience delivering specification-driven, compliance-governed products with hard external deadlines
- Experience with data architecture or multi-tenant platform design, you will partner with a solution architect on the most complex data modeling initiative at the company
- Track record of partnering with solution architects or senior engineers to define system design, then owning the product specification that results from those sessions
- 3+ years working with Agile/Scrum teams
- Deep understanding of payment processing flows (authorization, settlement, processor interconnections)
Preferred Qualifications
- CS degree, technical degree, or demonstrated technical depth (coding bootcamp, technical certifications)
- Experience at a payment processor, bank, or fintech infrastructure company
- Experience with PCI DSS, SOC2, or similar compliance frameworks
- Terminal/hardware product lifecycle experience
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar backlog tools

Pay Range
The base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $150,000 per year. Final compensation will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: education, experience, skills and qualifications.
