Product Manager, Permitting & Licensing
About the role
We're seeking a Product Manager, Permitting & Licensing to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of one of Schneider Geospatial's flagship product lines. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you'll partner with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and customers to deliver innovative solutions that simplify complex government workflows and improve the citizen experience.

What You'll Do
Define and execute the product vision for Schneider Geospatial's Permitting & Licensing solutions
Partner with the CPO and executive leadership to align product strategy with company objectives and market opportunities
Translate customer feedback, regulatory trends, and competitive insights into a compelling product roadmap
Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert for permitting, licensing, inspections, and related government workflows
Collaborate closely with Engineering to translate product strategy into actionable user stories, features, and technical priorities
Manage product backlogs and drive execution using Agile methodologies
Partner with Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure successful product adoption and measurable customer outcomes
Develop data-driven business cases for new features and enhancements that create customer and business value
Leverage AI, analytics, and customer insights to improve prioritization, product discovery, and user experience
Build strong relationships with customers to understand operational challenges, evolving regulatory requirements, and opportunities for innovation
Monitor product performance, industry trends, legislation, and competitive offerings to inform ongoing product strategy
Represent Schneider Geospatial at customer meetings, user conferences, and industry events as a trusted product leader
What You Bring
5+ years of product management experience, ideally within SaaS, GovTech, workflow automation, or business process software
Experience with permitting, licensing, inspections, community development, land management, or related government technologies strongly preferred
Proven ability to translate customer needs into product strategy, roadmaps, and feature prioritization
Familiarity with modern SaaS architectures (.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Understanding of modern web application frameworks (Angular, React) and user experience principles
Strong analytical mindset with experience using customer data and metrics to drive product decisions
Experience working with Agile teams and tools such as Jira
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Public Administration, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
