About the role
The Product Management Team at Waymo is responsible for developing and executing strategies to bring fully autonomous driving technology to market. This role focuses on making Waymo's AV maps as useful as possible by creating the software, tooling, and processes needed to rapidly map many territories.
Responsibilities
- Create software, tooling, and processes to rapidly map many territories
- Own mapping simulation capabilities to detect and validate map readiness
- Develop and own the roadmap for map tooling, from direct map editing to assessing map readiness for AVs
- Work with various teams to define the strategic vision for the software and guide the organization towards that vision
- Develop processes, metrics, and training to execute the product vision
Requirements
- Deep technical acumen of complex, multi-model systems
- Excellent stakeholder management skills

Qualifications
- Experience with simulation platforms, automated testing environments, or autonomous vehicle mapping architectures
- Experience with geospatial data, including data coverage and quality metrics
- AV experience (not required)

- Experience with agile methodologies

Pay
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is $204,000—$252,000 USD.
