Responsibilities

  • Translate roadmap priorities into sprint-ready requirements and manage delivery timelines for assigned products, ensuring features align with our AI strategy.
  • Work directly with technology teams in a product owner or similar capacity to support data-informed decisions and collaborate across functions to bring AI solutions from concept to reality.
  • Maintain well-defined, prioritized backlogs for AI development teams, ensuring efficient delivery of features.
  • Create and maintain documentation of AI product requirements, capabilities, and limitations for stakeholder alignment.
  • Gather feedback from business stakeholders and communicate progress, managing expectations on delivery timelines.
  • Implement ethical AI principles and governance frameworks in product specifications to build trustworthy solutions.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day development activities for specific AI solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical quality standards utilizing agile ceremonies as needed.

Qualifications

  • The Product Manager I would have a BA/BS in Business Administration or relevant field with 4+ years' experience in a product management position in healthcare, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The Product Manager II would have a BA/BS in Business Administration or relevant field with 6+ years' experience in a product management position in healthcare or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MBA preferred.

Skills and Attributes

  • Proven product management experience, with demonstrated success in complex product environments (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Understanding of AI/ML (including Generative AI) concepts, capabilities, and limitations—you know what's possible and what's hype.
  • Experience with the unique considerations of AI/ML product development lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business problems into data and AI solution opportunities.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly in explaining AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience creating and maintaining product documentation, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Proven ability to manage product backlogs and prioritize features based on business value.
  • Familiarity with AI ethics, responsible AI principles, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience tracking and reporting AI/ML metrics aligned to evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and facilitating sprint ceremonies.
  • Execution excellence—you can deliver on the details while understanding the bigger picture.
  • Excellent interpersonal with demonstrated ability to facilitate team discussions and build effective working relationships with individuals and groups at all levels.
  • Demonstrated project management skills including effective planning, organizing, and administration of multi-functional work responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including formal presentations and the facilitation of group planning sessions.

Pay

  • The expected hiring range for a Product Manager I is $87K - $109K/year depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.
  • The bonus target for this position is 15%.
  • The current full salary range for this role is $87K - $142K/year.
  • The expected hiring range for a Product Manager II is $104K - $131K/year depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.
  • The bonus target for this position is 15%.
  • The current full salary range for this role is $104K - $171K/year.

Schedule

Hybrid (Office 3 days/wk – Onsite-Flex) within Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Utah.
