Product Manager, Growth
About the role
Wise is a global technology company building the best way to move and manage the world’s money—minimum fees, maximum ease, full speed. Whether people and businesses are sending money abroad, spending overseas, or making and receiving international payments, Wise’s mission is to make lives easier and save money. As a Growth Product Manager, North America, you will own key corridor growth, defining the strategic vision and roadmap for crucial North American corridors and optimizing the end‑to‑end customer experience through growth levers, promotions, and strategic experiments.
Responsibilities
- Own the Corridors: work with Global teams to optimize each corridor’s pricing strategy and build and execute end‑to‑end promotional campaigns that boost corridor growth.
- Growth Experimentation: lead a continuous “test‑and‑learn” engine by designing, executing, and iterating promotion mechanics to optimize both acquisition and long‑term retention.
- Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle: bridge technical execution and market resonance by translating complex features into compelling value propositions, ensuring solutions address real customer pain points and are positioned effectively for Go‑to‑Market launch.
- Be a Customer Champion: deeply understand the needs and pain points of individuals and small businesses, using data, user research, and feedback to prioritize the biggest opportunities within each corridor.
- Drive Execution: lead the team in building and shipping new features, campaigns, and experiments, writing clear requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring high‑quality, on‑time delivery.
- Collaborate and Influence: work closely with engineering, design, compliance, marketing, legal, finance, and operations to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and build a scalable, compliant, and robust product.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably leading products in high‑stakes, high‑growth environments.
- Bias for Action: hands‑on, willing to go beyond a “by the book” product role to make the team and product successful.
- Data‑Driven Mindset: ability to use data (including writing SQL) to inform decisions, prove hypotheses, and tell compelling stories to stakeholders.
- Product Intuition: obsession with the customer journey, understanding the “why” behind decisions and crafting resonant messaging.
- Go‑to‑Market Strategist: actively shape launch strategy, define product positioning, identify target segments, and articulate the product’s unique value across every user touchpoint.
- Cross‑Functional Orchestration: master at rallying and aligning diverse teams—from Engineering to Compliance—taking end‑to‑end ownership of the product lifecycle.
- Exceptional Communication: clear, logical, persuasive communicator who can articulate a product vision, influence diverse teams, and build strong relationships.
- Mission Alignment: genuine passion for Wise’s mission of making money without borders.
