Product Manager, Growth
About the role
The Product Management Team at Waymo is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive the growth of Waymo’s fully autonomous ride-hail service. This includes creating products, features, and infrastructure to support trip growth, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and promoting a robust growth product strategy.
Responsibilities
- Closely partner with XFN stakeholders in data science, marketing, and operations to develop workflows and build tooling that enhances velocity, experimentation, and measurement.
- Solve a diverse set of rider growth challenges related to the success and efficiency of Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC) and rider incentives.
- Work across Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional partners (such as UX designers, data scientists, marketers, and operations teams) to ensure execution excellence.
- Develop and promote the growth product strategy with senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of Product Management experience.
- Proven track record of scaling consumer products.
- Experience with developer AI tools, design tooling, and SQL to enhance cross-functional teams' capabilities.
- Analyze consumer data, generate insights, and create recommendations.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, early-to-mid-stage growth environment (e.g., dealing with small and agile engineering teams, handling ambiguity in problem statements, balancing short-term and long-term strategy).
- Background in Ad Tech, Paid Media, and customer acquisition funnels.
- Experience with Growth Marketing teams, Mobile Measurement Partners (e.g., AppsFlyer, Kochava), and Experimentation platforms (e.g., Statsig).
- Previous experience in Ride Sharing, Consumer Tech, or Autonomous Vehicles.
- Management consulting background, MBA, or equivalent experience demonstrating both strong execution and strategic acumen.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills to interpret consumer data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative development processes.

Pay
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is $204,000—$252,000 USD. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
Schedule
This role follows a hybrid work schedule.
