Product Manager, Google Maps, Views Experiences

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
Responsibilities
- Develop the goals and strategy for next generation immersive imagery, including integration of Gen AI features. Define our North Star and accelerate product innovation for Google Maps views experiences.
- Develop and manage clear prioritization frameworks for investments, effectively balancing technical debt reduction, new capability development, and incoming stakeholder requirements. Work with engineering to define requirements and specifications.
- Lead the end-to-end product definition, development, and rollout of new features.
- Define, track, and analyze key health and performance metrics across product and user metrics (e.g., stability, performance, adoption, engagement, retention) in partnership with engineering, using the resulting data to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- Build relationships across Google partner teams. Formulate, measure, and realize technical outcomes in close collaboration with cross-functional partners and leads (Area Tech Leads, Engineering, Legal, UX, Data Science).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in product management, including managing the lifecycle of consumer-facing digital products.
- 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Engineering, UX/Design, Data Science, Product Marketing).
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
- Experience with Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Generative AI, or 3D graphics/rendering technologies.
- Experience utilizing data to define product success metrics, size business opportunities, and drive business generation strategies with excellent investigative skills.
- Knowledge of building accessibility best practices, and for incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.
- Track record of launching highly scalable mobile app features across iOS and Android.
Benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
