About the role

We're looking for a Product Manager to lead the Core Agents team in San Francisco. In this role, you will define and build Asana AI agents that plan, execute, and coordinate work directly inside Asana's work graph. Your mission is to make agents that act reliably, safely, and usefully on behalf of teams, helping Asana become the coordination and memory layer for the modern agentic enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and prioritized roadmap for AI agents, tying every investment directly to customer impact and Asana's mission.
  • Ship agents that take dependable, high-quality action across the work graph by planning, executing, and coordinating work end-to-end.
  • Build the evaluations, red-teaming, and monitoring systems that measure agent behavior, and drive relentless iteration on quality, reliability, and regressions after launch.
  • Shape how agents work together and with external systems, focusing on tool use and integrations so agents can reason over the right context and coordinate to complete complex, multi-step work.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and data science to turn highly ambiguous agent problems into shipped, high-impact product experiences.
  • Collaborate with GTM teams and stakeholders to ensure enterprise agents are dependable, safe, and aligned with rigorous governance standards.
  • Shape the intuitive product experiences that let humans direct, trust, and hand work to agents seamlessly.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.
  • 6+ years of product management experience, ideally focused on AI, agents, automation, or platform products.
  • Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools, including experience building with LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, tool use, evaluations, and reasoning about model behavior and its trade-offs firsthand.
  • Proven ability to work with engineering teams on complex, ambiguous systems like agents, multi-agent orchestration, APIs, or automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Familiarity with agent frameworks, orchestration, RAG, or evaluation systems.
