About the role

C3 AI is seeking a Product Manager to support the development and growth of our C3 Generative AI platform. In this role, you will drive feature-level product strategy, execution, and delivery, focusing on the technical aspects of building and scaling AI solutions. You will work closely with engineering, data science, product marketing, and customer-facing teams to translate market needs into functional software capabilities and deliver high-impact AI products.

Specialized AI agents analyze omni-modal enterprise data to deliver accurate, domain-specific insights with built-in source validation.

Responsibilities

  • Product Execution: Drive end-to-end feature development and product deployment, actively problem-solving alongside engineering and data science teams.
  • Requirements & Specifications: Author comprehensive product specifications across multiple features, iterating with the Product Council and cross-functional teams to secure approval.
  • Roadmap & Feature Planning: Identify new feature opportunities for your product area, contributing to long-term product vision and translating high-level plans into structured development phases.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with prospective and existing customers (Working Team through Mid Management levels) to demonstrate software capabilities, discuss roadmaps, and facilitate technical scoping discussions.
  • Requirements Gathering: Facilitate technical customer discussions for your product area, contribute to Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and translate customer needs into clear product specs.
  • Product Marketing & Collateral: Create product marketing collateral from directed input and develop target persona lists, keyword strategies, and demo content to support marketing campaigns.
  • Analyst Relations: Support targeted product demos for industry analysts under the guidance of General Managers and Product VPs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build constructive, cross-organizational relationships across engineering, data science, marketing, and sales to ensure successful feature releases.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2–4+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, AI, or a related technical domain.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of at least one core AI/ML or enterprise application area, with a foundational understanding of broader platform capabilities (e.g., Generative AI, data pipelines, model operationalization).
  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Proven ability to structure technical problems, translate user needs into detailed feature requirements, and collaborate directly with engineering teams.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts concisely in documentation and presentations.
  • Customer-Facing Ability: Comfort presenting software capabilities, conducting product demos, and participating in customer scoping sessions.
  • Execution Focus: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing feature priorities and deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.

Pay

California Base Pay Range: $132,000—$194,000 USD
