About The Role

The Product Mgmt Business Analyst II helps ensure our payroll software stays ahead of ever-evolving federal, state, and local regulations. The Regulatory and Tax Research team is responsible for product compliance at UKG by monitoring, analyzing, and partnering with product development teams to provide functionality that meets regulatory requirements. This position is open to remote work from within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deep-dive into US payroll tax updates and regulations within your assigned zone.
• Track daily updates on compliance mandates and identify adjustments needed for W-4 forms, W-2 reports, tax calculations, and wage attachment regulations.
• Analyze and summarize identified changes, creating comprehensive documentation for product and development teams to incorporate into UKG’s payroll products.
• Act as a trusted advisor and liaison, collaborating closely with the EPIC Product Team.
• Train and educate stakeholders on the impact of regulatory changes.
• Effectively communicate complex compliance requirements to both internal and external stakeholders, answering questions and providing timely, accurate information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll compliance or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and research databases.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $80,800.00 to $116,150.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
