About the role
The Product Business Analyst II connects business teams with IT. They solve problems and build features, ensuring the final deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
- Build relationships with business stakeholders across Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
- Lead requirements discovery by interviewing stakeholders and adjacent teams to uncover hidden requirements.
- Use AI tools to accelerate documentation and free up time for high-value tasks.
- Liaise between business and IT throughout the project lifecycle.
- Own post-launch quality by reviewing outputs and escalating issues.
- Ask insightful questions to prevent costly mistakes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, IT project coordination, product operations, or a similar role.
- Strong relationship and communication skills.
- Genuine curiosity about systems and data.
- An analytical mindset.
- Comfort using AI tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Prior experience writing requirements documentation, user stories, or functional specifications.
- Exposure to software development lifecycles (SDLC) or IT project delivery.
- Familiarity with project or workflow tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, etc.).
- Experience in auto insurance, property & casualty insurance, or financial services, especially with Guidewire and Ratabase.
- Experience reviewing reporting or dashboard outputs and identifying data quality issues.
