About The Role
The role drives the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core platform APIs and developer-facing infrastructure products. This position bridges the gap between engineering teams and enterprise customers, translating complex technical capability into clear product requirements. The team works in a fast-paced hybrid environment in New York, NY, collaborating directly with senior engineering leaders, data scientists, and business development managers to unlock new revenue streams through platform extensibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the multi-quarter product roadmap for developer APIs, webhooks, and SDKs, aligning technical metrics with business growth goals
- Author comprehensive product requirement documents (PRDs) and maintain a prioritized backlog with precise engineering specifications
- Parenthesize with engineering leads to run agile ceremonies, scoping complex technical initiatives and managing external dependencies
- Establish, monitor, and report on product usage analytics, API performance metrics, and user feedback to inform iterative product decisions
- Cook up cross-functional launch plans with product marketing, customer success, and developer relations teams to ensure adoption of new features
- Conduct competitive market analyses and developer interviews to identify gaps and prioritize next-generation integration capabilities
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in product management, specifically managing technical or developer-facing products like APIs, SaaS platforms, or cloud infrastructure
- Strong technical background with the ability to read code, query data using SQL, and understand system architecture designs
- Proven track record of shipping successful platform or infrastructure products from initial concept to GA launch
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: Experience with modern API gateway tools (e.g., Kong, Apigee), API testing workflows (e.g., Postman), or building developer communities
