About the role
The Product Manager will act as a hunter, responsible for identifying and pursuing new busbar design opportunities. This role involves working closely with global customers, sales, and engineering teams to ensure product development aligns with customer expectations and supports Molex's mission, strategy, and goals.
Responsibilities
- Communicate the Voice of the Customer to the Busbar team with reference to the Project.
- Respond to customer requirements with timely and accurate information.
- Present new Product Development requests including project information provided by the customer and sales teams for the busbar development team to review.
- Ensure the Project Plan requirements for Cost, Quality, and Timing are met.
- Work globally with customers and Molex team members.
- Achieve Financial performance goals.
- Work directly with Suppliers to ensure they meet Molex's expectations for timing, cost, and quality in support of the Project Plan.
- Support Molex Total Quality Management (TQM) program by following approved policies and procedures.
- Facilitate win-win scenarios between team members for the overall project benefit.
- Drive and focus the team on the execution of the Project Plan.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing OR equivalent electronic component industry experience.
- 3+ years of Business Development Product Management or technical sales experience working directly with customers and sales teams within a manufacturing environment.
- New Product Development Team experience.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workload.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Customer focused needs with a sense of urgency.

Pay & Benefits
This role is eligible for a salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, with the possibility of variable pay.
