Accountabilities
- Supporting Regional Sales Managers during customer presentations, technical discussions, demonstrations, and solution development activities.
- Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry engagement initiatives.
- Acting as the subject matter expert for aseptic filling and sterile processing equipment, maintaining deep product and market knowledge.
- Participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and customer meetings to ensure technical alignment and a positive customer experience.
- Reviewing customer requirements and validating that proposed solutions meet technical and operational expectations.
- Maintaining accurate opportunity data, project updates, and customer interactions within CRM systems.
- Monitoring sales pipelines, project milestones, schedules, and potential risks to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating closely with after-sales teams to remain informed on installation performance and ongoing support needs.
- Delivering product training and technical updates to commercial teams as new features and solutions are introduced.
- Gathering customer feedback, market intelligence, and competitive insights to support product improvements and strategic planning.
- Supporting forecasting activities and contributing to the continuous development of aseptic packaging solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, aseptic filling systems, or related technical environments.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), aseptic processing principles, and pharmaceutical equipment validation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and customer-oriented solutions.
- Experience supporting technical sales processes and managing customer-facing projects.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Customer-focused and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and project follow-up.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within North America and Europe, with estimated travel requirements of 40% to 60%.
