Product Manager, Android Auto
About the role
The Android Auto team collaborates with vehicle manufacturers to develop and deliver on a massive opportunity, building on a proven embedded platform to create a leading Assistant-powered, navigation, entertainment, and communication vehicle system, which will be delivered to specialized people-moving devices.
Responsibilities

- Build and manage a technical product roadmap to support our goals and strategy to make every drive safer, more seamless, and more entertaining.
- Create preliminary design concepts, and work with engineering across multiple teams to implement and iterate on product features.
- Initiate and prioritize projects within engineering, assist in determining the best technical implementation methods, track product development, and develop product launch plans that fulfill clear metric goals.
- Partner with technical infrastructure teams across Android OS, including connectivity, video, audio, Gemini in order to adopt the latest platform technologies and collaborate on making Android Auto a positive experience.
- Develop a durable growth strategy and positioning for doubling our user base and beyond.
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
- 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
- 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
- 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.
- Knowledge of, or continued interest in building accessibility best practices, and experience/curiosity for incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.

$138,000 - $198,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
