Product Lifecycle Project Manager (Hybrid)
This is a hybrid role based in the US, requiring three days a week in the Cisco office.
About the Team
UABU is part of the Cisco Enterprise Networking business unit. We develop the networking products, software, and solutions that Service Providers need to reduce cost and complexity, grow revenue, and secure their networks. Our worldwide customers include national and local carriers/telcos, video, cable, internet service, media, web, and over-the-top (OTT) service providers.
Responsibilities
- Partner with HW/SW Engineering, Marketing, Global Supply Management, Compliance, Product Ops Central, Global Manufacturing Ops, Quality, and Contract Manufacturing (CM) teams to ensure smooth NPI launch.
- Manage Product Transition, alternate component qualifications, and New Product Launches in the Supply Chain space.
- Partner with ASIC Engineering, HW/SW Engineering, and Marketing to develop product development schedules and timelines.
- Manage product transfers and supply ramp at alternate Manufacturing (PCBA) sites.
- Lead manufacturing cross-functional teams to ensure performance metrics for scope, cost, quality, and Time To Market (TTM) are met.
- Develop and implement action plans and fulfillment strategies with the coordinated product team based on input from engineering and marketing.
- Drive prototype and pilot builds, including cost, quality, and delivery expectations. Review and influence manufacturing capacity/capability, design stability, and risk planning.
- Coordinate and prioritize risk mitigation strategies (multi-source tech assessment, component, cost variance, supply chain review, and input).
- Ramp up multiple manufacturing sites and global demand fulfillment sites.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent training plus three years of experience in a technical Program management role (e.g., New Product Introduction (NPI) PM, Engineering PM, Supply Chain PM, or Product Life-cycle PM).
- Demonstrated experience leading with cross-functional impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s in a technical field or MBA.
- Experience with ASIC development and qualification process.
- Experience working in an NPI manufacturing environment with Contract Manufacturers.
- Successful track record in risk management and risk mitigation strategies.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $101,400.00 to $128,500.00 for new hires in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for specific locations is:
- New York City Metro Area: $122,200.00 - $177,900.00
- Non-Metro New York State & Washington State: $108,700.00 - $158,400.00
For quota-based sales roles, the ranges include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.

- Additional paid time away for critical or emergency family issues.
- Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer.
- Annual bonuses for non-sales roles, subject to Cisco’s policies.
- For sales roles: Performance-based incentive pay split between quota and non-quota components.
