Product Lifecycle Supply Chain Project Manager (Hybrid)
About the role
The 8000 product operations team is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) to manage supply chain readiness, total cost management, and BOM resiliency across various hardware programs.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the assigned product portfolio’s total cost & margin management, cost reduction programs and risk mitigation for new products.
- Validate the integrity of the costed BOM and forward costing.
- Ability to clearly articulate the main cost drivers, cost reduction, and cost avoidance activities and support Standard & Gross Margin management of HW & SW products through value engineering, Commodity Analysis and BOM optimization.
- Prepare the supply chain and lead a ramp plan to ensure continuity of material supply and delivery between proto and early production for assigned HW products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, supply chain management, or engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain within the tech industry.
- Experience in program management and stakeholder management.
- Supply chain knowledge (particularly in Hi-Tech environments), product costing, and margin analysis.
- Expertise in understanding a product, Bill of Materials and costing.
- Experience leading continuity of material supply, delivery, and quality ensuring no shortages, delays, or quality issues from prototype to FCS.
- Knowledge of PLM processes, exposure to Agile PDM system is an advantage.
