Product Liability Attorney

About the role

A skilled Product Liability Attorney to manage complex litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution, handling product liability, mass tort, personal injury, and other complex civil litigation within a collaborative, high-performing legal team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate product liability claims and conduct related legal research.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Manage litigation activities including depositions, hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Counsel clients on liability exposure, recalls, regulatory compliance, and risk-management considerations.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony and maintain accurate case, billing, and deadline records.
• Support business-development initiatives and client relationships.

Requirements

• 4–10 years of litigation experience, preferably involving product liability, mass torts, personal injury, or complex civil matters.
• Proven experience participating in depositions, oral arguments, and courtroom proceedings.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of county, state, and federal court procedures and civil rules.
• Ability to independently prioritize a busy caseload, exercise sound judgment, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, proactive professional who works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
