About the role

This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office. The Product Leader will drive the strategy, design, development, and delivery of AI and digital solutions across Mercer, managing initiatives from ideation through scaling to ensure successful adoption and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and product leaders to shape the AI and digital product vision, define key use cases, and prioritize strategic initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from concept through execution, ensuring all products are practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and drive the AI and Data strategy, collaborating with technical teams to integrate AI, machine learning, automation, and digital technologies into existing products and operations.
  • Oversee the integration and management of both structured and unstructured data into AI models and digital solutions, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance standards are met.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with business and product owner leaders, acting as a primary liaison between the Data & Digital team and business units to ensure clear communication, prioritization, and collaboration.
  • Lead the execution of AI and digital initiatives, coordinating across teams to manage resources, timelines, and dependencies, while monitoring KPIs and establishing feedback loops to continuously optimize solutions.
  • Ensure all AI and digital deployments are ethical, responsible, and compliant with security, privacy, and regulatory standards, managing risks related to data security, model explainability, and platform reliability.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in AI product ownership, digital product leadership, or enterprise technology innovation.
  • Proven track record of delivering AI and digital solutions at scale within complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, digital platforms, data architecture, and product design.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Expertise in agile delivery methods and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate AI and digital capabilities into tangible business outcomes.
  • Experience delivering AI-driven and digital solutions at scale within complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with responsible AI frameworks, digital governance, and data privacy regulations.

Pay

The applicable base salary range for this role is $164,200 to $328,300. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, requiring colleagues to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week.
