Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of a comprehensive multi-year strategy and roadmap for the company's finance technology ecosystem, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into impactful technical investments and system enhancements.
- Define and oversee the delivery of key initiatives outlined in the technology roadmap, aligning timelines and measurable outcomes with stakeholders.
- Lead the integration of AI solutions into core financial workflows, championing automation to enable a highly insight-driven finance function.
- Design, refine, and optimize essential finance processes by partnering with various leadership teams to ensure systems are aligned, efficient, and scalable.
- Act as the strategic partner to senior finance executives, translating complex data and technical considerations into clear, actionable decisions.
- Represent the finance technology vision in executive forums and contribute to wider company initiatives, ensuring finance needs are embedded in overall strategic planning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing enterprise or business systems with a focus on finance technology within a tech or SaaS environment.
- 4+ years in product design for finance workflows such as order-to-cash, record-to-report, procure-to-pay, and financial close systems.
- Proven expertise in navigating SOX ITGC controls and working effectively with internal and external auditors.
- Deep knowledge of ERP and financial application architectures, including NetSuite/Oracle, Coupa, Avalara, Zip, or Zuora, as well as integration patterns within a modern tech stack.
- Hands-on experience leading finance system migrations and transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of enterprise-led growth strategies and how to leverage finance systems to support upmarket scalability.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to finance and engineering leadership.
