Product Lead
Basic Qualifications
- Previous participation in production ramp of complex electrical/mechanical/optical systems
- Previous participation in new system design and development
- Familiarity in Engineering release processes and tools
- Familiarity with MRP systems
- Experience in capital planning, acquisition, and execution
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance
- Must be able to travel (typically monthly)
Job Description
You will be the Sapphire Product Lead for the Sapphire Product Line. Our team is responsible for establishing production designs and factory capacities for the entire Sapphire Product Line, managing design/fabrication/qualification of new test and manufacturing equipment, and delivering all non-recurring activities associated with upcoming deliveries and ramps.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sapphire Product Lead you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, high-rate-ready product designs and to build the infrastructure needed for successful product launches. Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply-chain partners to release designs on schedule.
- Oversee the design, fabrication, and qualification of new test and manufacturing equipment across multiple sites.
- Establish and scale factory capacities to meet production rate targets.
- Manage all non-recurring activities tied to product deliveries and ramp-up phases.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and infrastructure to support long-term product success.
