New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer
MCCUE Corporation, a Bunzl company, seeks a New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to lead the commercialization of innovative new products from engineering handoff through production release. This role requires collaboration with Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams globally.
- Own the New Product Introduction (NPI) process: Coordinate first article inspections with contract manufacturing partners, serve as the technical liaison between Product Development and suppliers, review engineering drawings, and provide technical support on manufacturability questions.
- Lead cross-functional launch activities: Support supplier qualification and production readiness activities, maintain standardized launch documentation, project timelines, and NPI processes, identify opportunities to improve launch efficiency, and support product commercialization processes.
- Travel: Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support supplier and customer activities.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 3–7 years of experience in product development, manufacturing engineering, supply chain engineering, or New Product Introduction.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, experience working with contract manufacturers or supplier partners, strong project management and organizational skills, excellent communication skills, experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar, experience with BOM creation, product setup, and engineering change processes, knowledge of manufacturing processes, supplier development, or product commercialization.
