About the role
The New Product Introduction Engineer II supports our team as a key member in the development and implementation of new medical devices.
Responsibilities
- Solves problems based on practice and precedent
- Works within prescribed guidelines and policies
- Broadens capabilities and builds knowledge of company processes and customers
- Trains new team members and provides input to performance evaluations
- Sets and meets project goals independently
- Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment
- Communicates complex information to others in straightforward situations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Polymer, Biomedical, Mechanical, Design Engineering, or related field
- Third-level qualification in a relevant field preferred
- 4+ years of experience in new product introduction, manufacturing, quality, or process engineering, preferably in catheter manufacturing
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2D/3D)
- Green Belt certification in Lean or Six Sigma preferred
- Experience with catheter manufacturing processes (extrusion, molding, balloon forming, braiding, packaging, assembly)
