New Product Introduction Engineer
About the role
At BAE Systems, we work on cutting-edge innovations that support some of the nation’s biggest defense programs and commercial applications. This role leads the transition to production of space radio frequency products and others, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work format. Over the next year, the focus will be on developing the technical baseline with manufacturability in mind, creating manufacturing make/where strategies, and transitioning products from engineering to manufacturing across multiple U.S. locations. The candidate will coordinate and lead transition to production, production ramp to rate, and continuous improvement efforts to drive manufacturing efficiency.
This is a first-shift position with a 9/80 work schedule, including some work-from-home days. The role requires heavy internal coordination with other ES manufacturing sites and the Space and Mission Systems Sector to develop work plans, funding, and strategy for capital investments.
