Product Installation Engineer - eBeam - Extensive travel required

About the Role

The KLA Services team partners with field teams and customers to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services, including proactive tool management, technical support, and an extensive parts network.

As an Installation Engineer, you will install new tools at customer sites, troubleshoot technical equipment problems, and ensure consistent results within specified cycle times. You will also prepare field service reports, contribute to quality feedback, and travel domestically and internationally for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install new tools at customer sites following all procedures to achieve predictable warranty starts.
• Evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical equipment problems related to installation.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs of moderate system-level problems based on technical knowledge, education, and training.
• Seek assistance from senior engineers and management for problems exceeding current expertise.
• Prepare field service reports and daily passdowns on installation progress and non-conformances.
• Contribute to post-activity Quality Feedback Reports.
• Obtain necessary international travel documents and manage personal logistics for extended travel.
• Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites via commercial transportation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, TSEs, or managers to formulate and execute Plans of Action (POAs).

Requirements

• ASET minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry.

Pay

Base pay range: $27.46 - $46.69 per hour.
