About the role

An IE works under supervision from Managers or senior IE's, but independently follows documented procedures and exercises judgment within defined procedures. Knowledgeable in electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems. Preferable had experience with SWIFT products and has a knowledge and high vacuum systems. Competent with the MS Office suite of applications and have knowledge of computer theory, various operating system software knowledge and networking in a Windows, Unix or Novell environment. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills are required. Ability to work in local or remote locations with domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve predictable Cycle Times and Warranty Starts for new tools installed at customer sites.
  • Includes activities associated with setup, alignment, calibration, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment.
  • Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with all installation-associated activities.
  • Affirms operational quality of system equipment.
  • Works directly with KLA regions and customers to verify new tool performance and transfer tool responsibility.
  • Seeks warranty sign-off on newly installed tools.

Requirements

  • ASET minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is required.
