Product Information Analyst
About the role
The Product Information Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring product data is accurate, complete, and operationally ready across the Merchandising Lifecycle. This role connects across Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Supply Chain, enabling scalable data management and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Participate in key go-to-market milestones between Design, Product Development, and Merchandising.
- Create, maintain, and validate Model and SKU-level data in Merchandising and PLM systems.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of product attributes across the full lifecycle - from raw materials to finished goods.
- Execute and audit seasonal data loads and updates in alignment with key Design, Development, Merchandising, and Planning milestones.
- Create and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and attribute definitions.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve data inconsistencies, gaps, and errors.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data integrity and reduce rework.
- Capture and maintain accurate product information with Product Line Managers, Regional Merchants, Product Developers, and Business Planners.
- Surface and resolve anomalies and edge cases related to attribution, hierarchy, and key measures.
- Translate category's business processes, seasonal strategy, and product inputs into structured system data.
- Act as a subject matter expert on product data and business processes by championing issues and opportunities between Product Creation, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Ensure market readiness by ensuring product data is complete and system ready.
- Maintain deadlines and ensure timely delivery of all data milestones.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Contribute to documentation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support implementation of data governance frameworks and tooling enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-5+ years of experience in product data management, Merchandising Operations, or a related function.
- Familiarity or direct experience with managing business operations in Direct-to-Consumer Retail, Wholesale, or E-commerce.
- General knowledge of Merchandising, Buying, or Open to Buy processes.
- Proven ability to synthesize and interpret data, spot trends, draw conclusions, develop recommendations, and influence action.
- Comfort with ambiguous, fast-growth, entrepreneurial environments.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Proactive identification of inefficiencies and a demonstrated ability to design scalable, sustainable solutions.
- Effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Thrives in ambiguous environments and brings structure to complexity.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Deep expertise in Excel required.
- Experience working with a PLM or a home-grown Merchandising system preferred.
- Experience working with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP) and adjacent systems such as supply planning (e.g., o9), and product information management systems (e.g., Akeneo) preferred.
- Experience using SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI (DAX), and other analytics query tools preferred.
- Experience using Miro, Confluence, Smartsheet, and other project management tools preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this role is USD $71,000 to USD $88,000. Total Rewards include immediate vesting of 401(k) retirement savings plan matching, eligibility for Arc'teryx Annual Incentive Plan, and access to Employee Stock Purchase program (ESPP) where applicable.
