Product Data Analyst

About the role

The Product Data Analyst will help Zello figure out where the product goes next by turning data insights into clear calls about what to build. They will join the Data & AI team in Austin, working hands-on and heavily leveraging AI.

Responsibilities

• Work with PMs, designers, and engineers to define product metrics, events, and success criteria.
• Design and run A/B tests, ensuring hypotheses are powered and analyzing results honestly to recommend a call.
• Build funnel, retention, and cohort analysis on mobile and web data using SQL and Python on Snowflake.
• Develop AI-agent workflows to handle routine analysis and ensure outputs are checked.
• Keep core product dashboards up-to-date and share analysis with the team.
• Turn analysis into clear stories and recommendations that people can act on.

Requirements

• Experience owning A/B tests end-to-end and making data-driven decisions.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python for cloud warehouses.
• Experience reworking analysis tasks to leverage AI agents for routine work.
• Pick the right methods for different types of data and don't wait for perfect data.
• Make work easier for others by sharing analysis and recommendations.
• Work well with PMs and designers, being straightforward and easy to collaborate with.
