About the role

You are the face of the brand on the retail floor, delivering an unforgettable experience to our guests. You are product‑obsessed, love getting outside to test gear, and share authentic product knowledge to recommend items that fit guests’ interests and needs. You champion Arc’teryx as a brand ambassador in‑store and in the community, prioritize personal and professional development, and collaborate with your team to create a better world together.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a best‑in‑class brand experience by sharing technical product knowledge and supporting guest problem‑solving.
  • Build a strong understanding of Arc’teryx products and weave this information into authentic guest interactions.
  • Act as a brand ambassador both in‑store and in the community.
  • Develop personal passions with support from the team, both inside and outside the store.
  • Support the store leadership team on projects and brand initiatives that elevate the guest experience.
  • Provide feedback on merchandising and in‑store experience to help drive sales.
  • Maintain an open, collaborative relationship with teammates and store leadership.
  • Assist with various store tasks as assigned by leadership.
  • Answer store phones, respond to voicemails and emails, and occasionally manage Epicenter social media channels.
  • Utilize the Point‑of‑Sale system to accurately process transactions, warranties, Used Gear trade‑ins, purchases, and returns.
  • Receive and unpack inventory boxes (5‑30 lb).

Availability

All employees must be available to work “Black Friday” and the holiday season (second week of December through the end of the season). Part‑time employees (up to 25 hours/week) must provide open availability for at least two of three weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and be able to cover one opening and one closing shift each week with a minimum six‑hour window. Full‑time availability is 30‑40 hours per week (5 days) and part‑time availability ranges from 10‑30 hours per week (2‑4 days), with scheduling subject to business needs.

Compensation

Pay range: USD $20.80 – $23.10 hourly.
