Responsibilities
The Product Engineering Manager is responsible for leading product engineering activities across the full product lifecycle, from manufacturing introduction through completion and distribution. This role provides strategic and operational leadership by defining product vision and roadmaps, allocating resources across product portfolios, coordinating cross-functional execution, and ensuring products meet specification, quality, cost, and profitability objectives in alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading product engineering teams within a manufacturing or product-focused engineering environment.
- Proven ability to define and execute product strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans aligned with business objectives.
- Experience managing cross-functional product delivery involving engineering, manufacturing, quality, test, sales, and external stakeholders.
- Strong background in cost management, profitability analysis, and long-term planning for product portfolios.
- Advanced leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with experience developing engineering managers and senior professionals.
