Product Manager - Engineering

Role Overview: The Product Owner — Pro Control / Pro Control Batcher is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and advancing software and system capabilities supporting feed mill operations and animal feeding processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with customer needs, operational priorities, and emerging technologies such as AI.Gather, define, and document business, functional, and system requirements, creating user stories and managing the product backlog.Collaborate with customers to understand operational challenges, support system audits, and recommend improvements.Coordinate with software, hardware, and support teams to ensure alignment, clear communication, and effective delivery.Apply operational knowledge in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and supporting continuous system optimization.Participate in rotating on-call support and travel to customer sites as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.Experience in feed mill operations, automation, controls, or manufacturing environments.Proficiency with PLCs, automation logic, industrial controls, and mechanical/electrical systems.Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Willingness to travel and participate in on-call support.Preferred experience with SCADA, HMI, AI, and Agile methodologies.
