Product Engineer (up to $250k)
This role is with one of Dex's trusted partner companies. We work closely with their teams to understand their culture, goals, and what they're looking for, so we can match you with the right opportunity and provide context about the role before you commit to a process.
About the role
This company is building the foundational infrastructure for the next generation of AI applications. They enable enterprises and fast-moving startups to securely connect their data to AI at scale, solving some of the hardest problems in deploying agentic tools and custom AI servers. They're backed by leading investors and seeing rapid adoption from major enterprise customers, all driven by a talent-dense team of ex-founders and domain experts.
This isn't a typical Product Engineer role. You'll join an early-stage product team, working directly with founders and customers to craft intuitive developer experiences for abstract, complex problems. This seat offers full lifecycle ownership, from ideation to shipping and measuring impact, rather than being a siloed coding position.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale core platform features that enable secure, large-scale AI-to-data connections for enterprise customers.
- Own the end-to-end developer experience, from intuitive UIs to robust backend services, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of agentic tools.
- Collaborate directly with founders and early customers to translate abstract problems into concrete product solutions and drive the roadmap.
- Ship, monitor, and support your features, taking full lifecycle ownership and measuring their impact on customer success.
- Work across the entire stack, from API design and web services (e.g., in Go) to modern frontend frameworks, tackling complex infrastructure challenges.
Requirements
- You are a proven Product Engineer or full-stack generalist, with a strong portfolio of crafting intuitive developer experiences for complex technical products.
- You thrive on end-to-end ownership: from ideation and design to coding, deployment, support, and measuring real-world impact.
- You have demonstrably improved customer experiences and contributed directly to company growth in previous roles.
- You can quickly learn new technologies and work across the entire stack, from backend services (e.g., Go) to modern frontend frameworks.
