Product Engineer (Onsite - Brookings, SD)

Responsibilities

• Support the development of new raw materials for existing products in the manufacturing facility.
• Design and conduct experiments on production equipment.
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional teams and projects to achieve business objectives.
• Plan, manage, and implement project activities.
• Initiate, lead, execute, and measure continuous improvement projects.
• Provide support for new product scale-up and commercialization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (verified prior to start).
• Two (2) years of engineering, research and development, or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (completed and verified prior to start).
• Experience in healthcare or medical device manufacturing, including familiarity with regulated environments like ISO 13485 and FDA-regulated settings.
• Experience preparing and delivering technical information through documents and discussions with stakeholders.
• Experience managing and advancing multiple technical workstreams independently, including planning, coordination, and delivery of defined outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of relevant experience.

For US applicants, the expected compensation range for this position is $106,000 - $145,750, inclusive of base pay and variable incentives.
