Position Description The Product Engineer II - NPD will be responsible for developing advanced heat transfer products and platforms within the Heavy Duty Equipment (HDE) business unit. The engineer will also be responsible for sustaining activities of existing product lines. This position reports to the Product Manager, Racine. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Develop HDE products and systems based on scope defined by Product Management and tied to the business unit strategiesCollaborate with Senior Engineers, Designers, Sales and Manufacturing during the entire development process from concept to productionCreate standard documentation related to Engineering, Design and Material specificationProvide support for existing products, including continuous improvement and value add/value engineering (VAVE) to optimize performance and costCoordinate prototype builds, create comprehensive test plans, conduct tests and analyze results to validate designsCollaborate with customers on application engineering projects related to new platform launches Required Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field5+ years’ experience in a Product Development or Application Engineering roleExperience in heat transfer systems and thermodynamics preferredWorking knowledge of CAD systemsStrong experience with Microsoft Office Excel and AI tools.Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment.
