Product Engineer Co-Op
About the role
This position supports manufacturing through process control & improvement initiatives, assumes responsibility for integrity for assigned products, establishes & maintains external & internal customer contacts, documents & prepares part specific work instructions & maintain knowledge of job cost & develop/implement appropriate plans to improve profitability.
Responsibilities
- Develop new, and refine existing investment casting product to reduce scrap, rework, and manufacturing costs.
- Support manufacturing in the producing of castings through all operations.
- Assist engineering / manufacturing in the completion of assigned projects.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.
- Currently enrolled in the pursuit of a degree toward a BS in Engineering / Management.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook.
- Casting or metal fabrication experience preferred.
