Product Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Engineer for our Houston, TX facility. This position provides engineering support for all our manufactured products, including valves and fittings. The role involves performing engineering calculations to ASME and international piping codes and standards, creating product engineering drawings and technical specification files, and providing engineering support for both inside and outside sales departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations to ASME and international piping codes and standards.
• Develop product engineering drawings and technical specification files.
• Provide engineering support for inside and outside sales departments.
• Interpret customer technical requirements and align them with industry codes and standards.
• Develop product designs and customer drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.M.E.).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, ERP systems, document control, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret customer technical requirements and apply industry codes and standards.
• Strong communication skills for interactions both inside and outside the organization.
• 0 to 5 years of experience in an engineer-to-order, high-volume manufacturing environment (desirable).
• Technical background in valves and piping systems engineering (a plus).
