About the role
As a Product Engineer you will perform engineering assignments as part of a work team involved in the sales, engineering, planning, organizing, and developing of products. Design and direct installation of mechanical or electromechanical products or plant systems.
Responsibilities
- Work directly and indirectly with customer service and sales personnel on quotations and technical clarification (e.g., material—elastomers, seat material, metals—and valve selection recommendations) for customers on assigned product line(s).
- Size valves and provide data sheets to customer specifications using flow calculations in accordance with API 520 or ANSI/ISA S75.01.
- Provide cut sheet presentations of product assembly drawings with dimensions, bills of material, and technical data regarding applications to customers.
- Perform ECR’s (Engineering Change Requests) and create Bills of Materials using ERP system.
- Work with engineering team on sustaining, problem solving, product design, and manufacturing of valves in compliance with industry standards.
- Perform ECN’s (Engineering Change Notices), including drawings, dimensional and/or material, and design changes.
- Provide support for assembly, supply chain, and QC with component prints and material specifications.
- Create, update, and maintain nomenclatures for part numbering.
- Create build/test procedures for assembly.
- Provide training to all employees on assigned product line(s).
- Must be a self-starter, motivated contributor in a team environment, capable of high-level work output. Must have excellent social and interpersonal skills and must be able to take directions, guidance, and work well within the cooperative culture of the TVT Engineering group.
Requirements
- Application/Design aptitude in one or more of the following: Safety Relief valves, Rupture/Buckling Pin devices, Control/Dump Valves, Regulators, and Chokes.
- Experience in documentation and computation skills for the O&G or refinery service applications is essential.
- Computer Skills: Primary drafting experience using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, MRP/ERP software.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or M.E.T. with 2-4 years of related experience in upstream, midstream, and downstream applications.
- Resides in Oklahoma City Area – not a remote position.

$85K–$100K
