About the role
As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving scalable web applications using modern technologies such as Angular, NestJS, and TypeScript. You'll work closely with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and contributing to meaningful, user-focused products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient front-end and back-end systems using Angular, NestJS, and TypeScript
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate GraphQL where appropriate
- Work with relational databases to design schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure performance and scalability
- Work closely with product managers, QA, and design teams in an agile environment to deliver features and resolve technical challenges
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality outcomes
- Stay current with emerging technologies and development best practices to continuously improve product quality and performance
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with the Angular framework for front-end development
- Solid experience with the NestJS framework for back-end development
- Proficiency in relational databases, SQL programming, and database modeling
- Experience with RESTful API development and exposure to GraphQL integration
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of experience with JavaScript ES6 and TypeScript
Language skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources
