Product Engineer
About the role
Your Contribution As a Product Engineer in our NA HVAC Heat Exchanger Group, you will support AC-HX product application and validation for NA HVAC Development Programs. Interface with MAHLE Global Product Development Teams and Customer Teams to support program development including test plans, concept validation and performance verification. Provide input to the design and development of HVAC and AC-HX products based on validation test results and lessons learned. Lead Product Cost Optimization activities for NA AC-HX initiatives. Lead warranty analysis for NA AC-HX. Lead and participate in the efforts to create documents such as test plans, control plans, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVPR, PVPR, etc with AC-HX components to support program timing and deliverables. Willingness and ability to travel to all NA Regional locations to support activities on a moderate basis including; Ramos-MX, Juarez-MX, Dayton-OH, US, Farmington Hills-MI, US.

Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience working with Aluminum Heat Exchanger material systems and manufacturing processes required
- Knowledge and capability to analyze Aluminum Alloy corrosion mechanisms required
- Knowledge and ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of Science is required
- Experience in brazed aluminum heat exchangers
