Responsibilities
- Customer Orders: Review and approve purchase orders, specifications, acknowledgements, and drawings for customers and production per timeline. Ensure drawings meet engineering best practices and code requirements. Identify and specify special-order parts.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with supply chain to ensure correct specification and timely delivery of purchased parts. Resolve supply issues and identify substitutes.
- Technical Support: Provide support during manufacturing, perform in-process and final inspections, and assist aftermarket functions including installation, service, and documentation.
- Customer Support and Satisfaction: Act as liaison between manufacturing and customers to resolve technical and commercial issues.
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation is obtained, saved in the job file, and provided to the customer.
Requirements
- Engineering or Technical Degree preferred.
- Project Management experience.
- Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Design Principles.
