Product Engineer

About the role

As a PTC Creo Product Engineer - Intermediate, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams including Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Industrial Design, and Marketing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure seamless execution of engineering assignments.
• Design, develop, and improve products by applying mechanical engineering principles, material science, and manufacturing processes.
• Support product validation and engineering approval processes, including ISIR and PPAP documentation.
• Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities to enhance product reliability.
• Contribute to successful product launches and production implementation efforts, ensuring quality and manufacturability standards are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience applying mechanical engineering principles, material science, manufacturing processes, and tooling in product development.
• Experience with engineering approval processes for production parts, including ISIR and PPAPs.
• Ability to perform and interpret DFMEA and PFMEA assessments effectively.
• Proficiency with PTC Creo software is required; experience with Windchill is preferred.
