Responsibilities
- Support DC-DC converter products through documentation, troubleshooting, analysis, and qualification to meet production yield goals.
- Troubleshoot production issues, support functional testing, and provide guidance on trimming processes.
- Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Carry out reliability and performance analyses, including thermal analysis, stress analysis, and MTBF calculations.
- Design and develop test hardware using Cadence Allegro; perform simulations to validate designs.
- Support release of design packages and review customer specifications and datasheets.
- Cook up and support external validation testing, including vibration, shock, and radiation testing (TID and SEE).
- Create, validate, and release new test programs to support new product introduction (NPI).
- Perform test validation, qualification, and release to production in accordance with corporate standards.
- Identify and implement test process improvements to enhance efficiency, yield, and quality.
- Collaborate with test engineering and design teams to define and implement effective test strategies.
Qualifications

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Maintain a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Have 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering, test engineering, or related product development.
- Show strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and DC-DC converters.
- Show hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
- Show programming experience in C, C++, Visual Basic, Python, or LabVIEW.
- Show experience with PCB design and schematic capture tools such as OrCAD or Cadence Allegro.
- Show experience with ATE systems (e.g., Chroma) is a plus.
- Show strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Show excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
