Product Development Manager

Our client, a leader in CPG products, is seeking a dedicated Product Development Manager to join their dynamic team in Nutley, NJ. This is a 12-18 month contract role with a pay rate of $40/hr.

About the role

Drive the end-to-end launch process for new products from concept to market release. Manage cross-functional project timelines, ensuring all teams meet key milestones.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, prototypes, and meeting records.
• Track project budgets, monitor expenses, and manage vendor and supplier contracts.
• Coordinate testing protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance to ensure product standards are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or project coordination.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear collaboration.
• Proficiency with product lifecycle management (PLM) software, ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle), and MS Office suite.
