Job Description:

• Under general supervision, responsible for mechanical testing of various products used by patients with Diabetes for therapy.
• Includes new product development, line extensions, peripheral devices, quality improvements, testing of competitive products, and compatibility testing.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and support day-to-day operations.
• Write or develop testing protocols, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation like force measurement equipment (Instron, Chatillon), linear measurement vision systems, balances, scales, etc.
• Prepare and document test data, communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to relevant engineers.
• Coordinate with Metrology for equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Help with equipment moves resulting in new test method validations.
• Some familiarity with test method validations, including gage R&Rs.
