Product Development Chemist

About the role

The Product Development Chemists work on sustainable, water-based, and energy-curable (UV/EB) inks and coatings featuring low VOCs, high print fidelity, and excellent adhesion for packaging, personal care, and industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations for various ink and coating applications
• Conduct experiments to improve product performance and meet quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product compatibility and functionality
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• BS in Chemistry or related field
• 2+ years of industry experience in coatings formulation

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with laboratory equipment and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of sustainable materials and processes
• Understanding of VOC regulations and compliance
• Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
