Responsibilities
- Accountable for all product development activities for assigned brand and/or categories.
- Manage product development timelines and deliverables.
- Order samples, route audits, and approve/reject samples (fit, design, and raw materials).
- Serve as the primary contact for Merchandise and Sourcing Product Development on changes needed to existing products.
- Make decisions regarding fabric, color, findings, and fit, as defined by the Merchandise partner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data in PLM and other systems throughout the process.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for cross-functional meetings and project updates.
- Conduct all sample activities, including initiation, tracking, approvals, and communication between internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure calendar adherence and flag potential delays or issues to the Manager and Brand Team.
- Support cost tracking and documentation for new and existing products.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist with ISO documentation and compliance activities as needed.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the broader Product Development team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel, Product Development, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience in product development, sourcing, or related apparel industry roles.
- Knowledge of garment and fabric construction preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with PLM systems is a plus.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team setting.
- Travel expected to support Supply Chain partners and product activities.
