Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a Product Design role
  • At least 4 years of experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
  • At least 4 years of experience collaborating with product, tech and business partners
  • At least 4 years of experience working with an established design system
  • Candidates with less than 10 years of experience are preferred; the team is not seeking a senior-level designer
  • Ideal Candidate: Comfortable working in environments with dense information and complex workflows, Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business problems, develop a plan, and work through challenges independently, Able to operate semi-autonomously while knowing when to seek support from the team, Experienced in collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineering partners, Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills

Overview (User Experience (UX) Designer)

The User Experience (UX) Designer will create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences for complex enterprise products within a highly regulated, data-intensive environment. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams to design user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and scalable solutions using established design systems.

The ideal candidate has strong product design experience, expertise in Figma, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and a portfolio that demonstrates successful collaboration, design thinking, and measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

Product Design Expertise:

  • Leverage deep expertise in product design and skills across interaction, visual and service design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, use appropriate tools, platforms, frameworks and design systems and work with teams to create artifacts that may include journey maps, blueprints, high-fidelity designs and prototypes

Human-Centered:

  • Champion the customer through the design process, leveraging critical-thinking skills that factor in data, research insights, scalability, tech constraints and feedback

Business-Focused:

  • Understand and apply business and customer strategy, facilitate design process activities with team and partners, negotiate customer needs and business goals for harmonious outcomes

Problem-Solving:

  • Understand of the potential of tech and data capabilities and emerging technologies and use this knowledge to inform work and help your team navigate technical limitations

Communication:

  • Present work to audiences across levels and job functions using a human-centered approach that integrates design frameworks, data and research insights to effectively articulate insights and design decisions

Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams on a daily basis

Design enterprise-level products and workflows in a data-heavy, highly regulated environment

Work with complex work management and enterprise tools similar to those used by large banks or other regulated industries

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex user experience challenges

Quickly onboard to existing projects and begin contributing with minimal ramp-up time
