About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Designer (UI/UX) based in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to create impactful digital experiences across innovative financial products.
Responsibilities
- Own the design of end-to-end product experiences, ensuring digital solutions are intuitive, consistent, and aligned with both user needs and business objectives.
- Translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-quality user interfaces.
- Create intuitive experiences across financial products, including insurance, payments, claims, investments, and related services.
- Build, maintain, and improve scalable design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of design solutions.
- Improve product usability through continuous iteration, user feedback, and product insights.
- Maintain consistency across mobile and web experiences while optimizing accessibility and interaction quality.
- Partner with product teams to identify customer challenges and develop thoughtful design solutions.
- Take ownership of design decisions and communicate rationale clearly throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Combines strong product design expertise with strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced product environment.
- 3+ years of experience designing digital products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking and visual design capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including interactive prototyping, Auto Layout, and component libraries.
- Strong understanding of design systems, responsive design, information architecture, and user flows.
- Excellent visual design skills across typography, spacing, layout, and interaction design.
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into clear, intuitive user experiences.
- Experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Experience working independently, taking ownership, and delivering high-quality work in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong English communication skills required for collaboration across global teams.
