Product Designer II

About the role

This role is for a Product Designer II at Ramsey Solutions, a company founded by Dave Ramsey dedicated to providing biblically based, commonsense education and empowerment for personal finance.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive digital experiences across desktop and mobile platforms
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to understand customer needs
• Lead product discovery, user research, and validation of ideas through usability testing
• Refine experiences using customer feedback and product data
• Simplify complex customer problems into clear, trustworthy, and effortless-to-use experiences
• Solve meaningful customer problems through intuitive user experiences and interaction design
• Collaborate effectively with Product Managers and Engineers to influence product direction and balance customer needs, business goals, and technical considerations
• Validate ideas with customers, incorporate feedback, and iterate quickly based on research and product analytics

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience designing consumer-facing digital products across desktop and mobile
• Experience owning products or significant features from discovery and ideation through launch, measurement, and continuous iteration
• Proficiency in Figma, including wireframing, prototyping, components, and design systems
• Experience conducting user research, customer interviews, usability testing, and synthesizing insights into product decisions
• Strong product thinking and design thinking skills to solve complex customer and business problems through intuitive user experiences and interaction design

Qualifications

• Comfortable exploring multiple concepts, validating ideas with customers, incorporating feedback, and iterating quickly based on research and product analytics
• Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, end-to-end problem solving, and measurable customer and business impact

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
