Product Designer (Contract)

About the role

Momentum is not a place for narrow specialists. We are a true product design group, and our designers are encouraged to engage across the process—from research and insight gathering, to shaping experience strategies, contributing to client workshops, designing UX/UI systems, and exploring how AI-driven thinking can enhance product and service ecosystems. As a Product Designer, you will contribute to shaping outcomes at the intersection of business needs, service design, and digital product experience. This role calls for strong craft, curiosity, and collaboration—bringing thoughtful design execution while developing the ability to connect design decisions to broader business and user goals.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of mobility, exploring how people, vehicles, and services connect in new ecosystems
• Reimagine neurosurgical planning through 3D, VR, AR, and AI-powered tools that support both pre-operative planning and live surgical procedures
• Architect end-to-end telecom service experiences across digital and physical touchpoints
• Build intelligent digital agents to combat misinformation in global health
• Visualize and model strategies for billion-dollar venture portfolios, with AI-augmented insights
• Design multi-channel healthcare journeys for patients, providers, and caregivers—personalized through AI orchestration and automation
• Explore the frontier of AI-powered experiences—from automation to augmentation and beyond

Requirements

• 1 to 4+ years of applicable design experience
• Excellent written and spoken English skills; this is 100% an English position
• An actual digital product designer (e.g., you move pixels around with precision and have a portfolio that demonstrates it)
• Enjoy learning about new industries and are a quick study
• Looking for opportunities to help brands define their character
• A solid visual and interaction designer with the appetite to learn or improve your skills for translating user research insights into actionable strategy
• Enjoy creating modular, scalable wireframes and mockups that creatively apply consistent interface patterns across a variety of use cases and device types
• Can design using Sketch or Figma and can adapt to new tools as they become available
• Know transactional data and what to do with it. You eat data visualization for lunch
• Enjoy reducing the friction between the end user and their goals by pushing the limits of artificial intelligence
• Have a keen sense of motion design, 3D, and frontend technologies; or you want to learn
• Love to combine empathy with design to create usable experiences
• Up for the challenge of charting new markets and inventing new industries
• Coming with experience but wanting to learn new methodologies; you can share and collaborate with others on UX/UI guidelines and design patterns
• Understand that working at an agency gives you a wide perspective of many industries, processes, budget constraints, timelines, and unique customer needs
• Have an appetite for learning from your peers and sharing your knowledge
• Clearly express yourself and defend what you create, how it drives your process, and most importantly, why it is effective
• Enjoy working with others, collaborating with your team and customers, and understand that there is no I in Momentum
